Cuba Travel USA provides travel services and information for people considering travel to Cuba. We offer hotel and flight information as well as reservations. Furthermore, we can tell you about activities available to you while in Cuba including Scuba diving, snorkeling hiking, fishing, golf, dancing, tours, etc.  Learn about what to expect while in Cuba and get a more realistic version of Cuba/US relations than is typically portrayed in the US media.

Today's Cuba offers travelers a rare opportunity to see a society very different from any other in the world. It is one of the most unique destination one can visit today. In some areas, you will see some of the most picturesque beaches you have ever seen coupled with the beautiful turquoise sea that surrounds the country. While in urban areas such as Havana, you can see the best preserved colonial architecture in all of Latin America. The Cubans will welcome you with open arms.  There is absolutely no ill will of any kind towards individual Americans. In my opinion, they are the friendliest people in the world.  Once you have visited Cuba for the first time, you will realize what an incredible place it is, and how delightful the Cuban people really are. Cuba is the safest country in the Western Hemisphere for travel! Even women and children can walk the streets of Havana at night trouble free!

Cuba will likely soon be the number one tourist destination for Americans in the Caribbean.  It already is for Canadians. We urge you to get there before it becomes Americanized.  Let's be honest, there simply couldn't be a better time to visit Cuba.  First and foremost, the Cuban people are among the friendliest and most delightful people on this planet. We expect Cuba to be a very different place when Cuba and the US have "normal" relations again. It's difficult to say when that might happen, but both the US congress and senate voted to end funding for the enforcement of the embargo within the last year. So, it might be sooner than you think. Mexicana, Click Mexicana, Cayman Airways, Lacsa, and Cubana Airlines are flying very nice aircraft to Cuba.....the best we have ever enjoyed, not to mention the safest.  The visa or tourist card comes automatically with every airline ticket to Cuba.  Any American can go, only Cuban Americans traveling with a Cuban passport need a special visa or stamp in their Cuban passport.

Americans can travel to Cuba legally if you are a Cuban American, politician, journalist or if you have a research project regarding Cuba.  Others including students, religious groups, and humanitarians can apply for a license from the U.S. Treasury Department Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).

Over 100,000 Americans will visit Cuba this year.  One Treasury Department release said that only 6,000 licenses had been issued in one-two year period.  What does that tell us?  Many Americans are going without the government's permission.  We encourage you to exercise your freedom to travel.  Free people shouldn't have to have a license to travel! We believe that the freedom to travel in times of peace is a constitutional right!

Cuba is located just 90 miles from Key West, Florida across the Straits of Florida.  The island is 780 miles long, about 140 miles wide in some places and has four mountain ranges, 200 rivers, 1,000 lakes, swamps and fertile soil.  Approximately 25% of Cuba is forest land!  There are approximately 11.3 million Cubans, living in 14 different provinces and on the Island of Youth.

Music lovers will truly enjoy Cuba, as Cuban music is currently sweeping the world with their salsa, rumba, jazz, etc.  It is everywhere, in the clubs, the discos, even on the street corners.  Cuban music may just be about the hottest thing in the world today!

What a great time to be in Cuba!  Parts of Havana have been declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites and lots of construction is going on restoring some of the beautiful old buildings.  It is truly remarkable!

No matter what you wish to see or do in Cuba, everything is possible.  History, architecture, culture, sports, incredible beaches, outdoor recreation, eco tourism or the famous nightlife....that is what Cuba is all about at the start of the 21st century.  The time to go is now!

Cuba Travel USA will debunk many of the myths and tell you everything they want or need to know about traveling to Cuba.
